own. The Digital Brand Manager enables companies to manage their
entire domain name portfolios – including names currently registered
through other vendors – through a secure, Web-based portal. Companies
can organise domain names and assign varying levels of access to different
company departments and individuals to further streamline domain name
management. Designated employees can search available domain names,
submit domain name service orders, track status, and export custom reports
from any location, worldwide.
Domain Name Registrations
The Digital Brand Manager automatically handles most
commonly requested domain name services to speed resolution and provide
single-source tracking. More complicated requests are handled by VeriSign
experts and manually entered into the system.
Flexible Reporting Options
Based on a portfolio system, employees can
customise information, displaying different fields from easy-to-use
lists and sorting data by simply clicking column headings. These customised
views can be saved, printed, and exported as desired.
Information Management
Companies better manage domain name assets by creating
hierarchical divisions and subdivisions in the portfolio and assigning
appropriate access by department or employee.
Tracking Requests and Transactions
The Digital Brand Manager provides e-mail confirmation
and keeps a record of every transaction, including time, date, and responsible
person. This audit trail enables management to troubleshoot any problems
that may occur.
VeriSign Secure Transactions
External users must log in to the Digital Brand Manager
with a username and password, and all transactions are encrypted and
secure. Redundant computers running the service are housed in a high-security
