VeriSign Seal Installation Instructions

Choose Your Seal

Note: You must purchase a VeriSign® SSL Certificate or VeriSign Trust™ Seal in order to display the VeriSign seal on your Web site.

1. Select the type of product you purchased.
2. Select the language for the Verify link and verification page
3. Select the size of the seal display.
4. Select to display format as an animated graphic (Flash) or a static GIF file (Image).
5. Enter the Web site name or Common Name. (Do not include http:// or https://) VeriSign Trust Seal customers should enter the domain name provided during enrolment. SSL customers must enter the common name (CN) for which the SSL Certificate was issued. For example, if the common name is secure.verisign.com, enter secure.verisign.com. If the common name is an IDN (such as www.青年奥运.com), please enter the corresponding punycode. IDN-punycode converter.

Create Your Seal Script

Click "I accept" to generate your script in the box below and copy it directly into your Web page code.
(Emailing or copying the code into a word processor may result in errors.)

Check Your Seal

The VeriSign seal should display within 24 hours of installation and often will display within a couple of hours. Display of the seal is dependent on a valid SSL Certificate and a clean malware scan where applicable.

Open the updated pages in a Web browser.
Make sure the seal appears as expected.
Click the seal to check the verification page.
Review the information to make sure it is correct.

If your seal does not display, make sure that the page with the seal is located within the domain you provided during enrolment.
