Enrolment URL
A customised URL for certificate enrolment
is created for each Managed PKI for SSL account. The Managed PKI for
SSL administrator for your company uses the enrolment wizard to select
options for the enrolment page.
Find the Enrolment URL
The MPKI Administrator is responsible for distributing
the enrolment URL to end users. They request certificates for their
servers and applications using the company’s Managed PKI for SSL account.
To locate the enrolment URL:
- Log-in
to your MPKI Control Centre at
https://enterprise-ssl-admin.verisign.com/
- Click
on Certificate
Management
- On the
left side, click on User Services
- The enrolment
site is linked on the right-hand side. The URL will appear as https://onsite.verisign.com/<<YOURACCOUNTJURISDICTION>>/index.htm
Find the Intermediate CA
If you purchased Managed PKI for SSL Premium
Edition or Managed PKI for SSL Intranet Edition, your end users need
to install an intermediate CA before installing the certificate.
- Administrators
log-in to the MPKI Control Centre at
https://enterprise-ssl-admin.verisign.com/
- Under
Configuration choose Install CA.
- Copy
the intermediate certificate into text file and name it ‘intermediate.crt’.
- Provide
your end users with this file and instruct them to place it in the same
directory as their SSL Certificate. For example: /usr/local/ssl/crt
