Installation Instructions
SSL Certificates with Server Gated Cryptography
(SGC) require an additional step in the installation process. You have
an SGC-enabled SSL Certificate if you purchased either Secure Site Pro
or Secure Site Pro with EV.
Extended Validation Certificates
To install your Secure Site/Standard with Extended Validation or Secure
Site Pro/Premium with Extended Validation Certificate, go to the instructions here.
Secure Site and Secure Site with EV
To install your Secure Site SSL Certificate,
go to the instructions below for your server software. If your server
is not listed or you need additional information, please refer to your
server documentation or contact your server vendor. You need to copy
the Secure
Site Intermediate CA Certificate before proceeding to the
installation instructions for your server software.
Secure Site Pro and Secure Site Pro with EV
To install your Secure Site Pro SSL Certificate,
go to the instructions below for your server software. If your server
is not listed or you need additional information, please refer to your
server documentation or contact your server vendor. You need to copy
the Secure
Site Pro Intermediate CA Certificate before proceeding to
the installation instructions for your server software.
Free Trial SSL Certificate
A
special trial root Certificate Authority is used to digitally sign VeriSign
Trial SSL Certificates:
You
need to:
- Install
the Special
Test CA Root on each browser that you will use to test your
Trial SSL Certificate.
- Install
the Secure
Site Trial Intermediate CA on each Web server used for testing.
Note:
Customers using Microsoft IIS 5.0 or 6.0 servers can skip this step.
- Install
your Trial SSL Certificate using the instructions listed for your server
vendor below.
